Expanding the Household Services Scheme is a good way to support households which need help with certain aspects of their family, but do not wish to hire a live-in foreign domestic worker, said MP Yip Hon Weng in Parliament on Friday (Mar 4). In the area of respite care for seniors, Mr Yip wanted to know how workers will be equipped with the skills to care for the elderly with special needs.
