Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 3: Yip Hon Weng on hiring and retaining foreign talent

There is an "urgent" need to review Singapore's strategies on the hiring and retention of foreign talent. The Government needs to give companies more certainties on plans to address the talent crunch, said MP Yip Hon Weng. Speaking in Parliament on Friday (Mar 4), he asked the Government to share its plans to continue attracting international talent to complement the local workforce. He also called for support for the human resources industry to develop better hiring and talent management practices.
