In Parliament on Monday (Mar 7), MP Cheryl Chan sought further clarification on Singapore's plan to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 through carbon pricing.  She also wanted to know how the Government would ensure that the impact of the reduction in greenhouse gases is properly measured and accounted for. She also asked if a further review will be conducted to validate if the revised carbon tax level is deemed adequate in 2026 or 2027 to achieve the targets set.
