Singapore is aiming to produce 30 per cent of its nutritional needs locally and sustainably by 2030. What support will the local food production industry get to build up its capabilities and capacity to achieve this? As progress is made on that front, will food imports be calibrated to avoid wastage? With the growth of aquaculture, does the Government plan to provide clarity on the use of both land and sea space to optimise the supply of local produce? These questions were raised by NMP Koh Lian Pin in Parliament on Monday (Mar 7).
