It is imperative for Singapore to move urgently to build and forge an even more future-ready and future-proof education system, said MP Patrick Tay. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Mar 7), he said teachers and adult educators, as well as students and adult learners, must be seamlessly aligned and well-connected to be better prepared for the future of skills, jobs, education and training. He also raised concerns with the mental well-being of teachers and adult educators, and called for an in-depth study to better support them.
