Schools must be able to detect and step in to help students with mental health issues early. MP Shawn Huang, who highlighted this area of concern in Parliament on Monday (Mar 7), wanted to how the Ministry of Education (MOE) is better supporting the mental well-being of students and how it is building up capabilities for a conducive and supportive environment for students. He also wanted to know how MOE is ensuring that students with special needs are being nurtured and equipped with skills for life.
