Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 4: Tan Chuan-Jin on guillotine time
Speaker of Parliament Tan Chuan-Jin reminded Members of how Parliamentary proceedings work and stressed the need to observe the guillotine time during the House sittings. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Mar 7), he said he is sure that Members are all "very passionate" about the respective topics of clarifications. He explained how time is allotted for the debates on Budget 2022 and Committee of Supply. He said he tries to give time to Members from various parties to speak and keeps track of it.
