A second Community Care Apartments (CCA) pilot project will be launched this year in Queenstown. It will offer about 200 CCA assisted living units for seniors and the development will include other flat types as well. Meanwhile, a site in Kovan will be launched for sale by public tender for a private assisted living facility that can accommodate up to 400 seniors. Minister of State for National Development Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim made these announcements in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 8). He also elaborated on housing support for public rental tenants and low-income singles.
