Quality preschool education is vital for children to achieve their fullest potential in life, said MP Melvin Yong in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 9). He asked how often the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) reviews the pedagogies of the early childhood curriculum and what its future plans are to improve the quality of early childhood education. Mr Yong also wanted to know if there has been an increase in attrition among preschool teachers. He asked how the Government is ensuring that there are enough teachers to cope with an increased workload amid a surge in Omicron infections.
