Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 6: Seah Kian Peng on digitalisation of social service agencies

While technology has streamlined many processes for social service agencies, physical meetings are still vital for social workers to discern "not just what is conveyed through the camera and the microphone", said MP Seah Kian Peng. Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 9), he asked the Government to provide updates on how technology has impacted the service delivery of social service agencies. He also wanted to know how the Government plans to encourage more community partners to come on board the social service space.
