Boosting social mobility and uplifting the success of a community do not come from policy changes alone. They require hard work to build a supportive culture, said MP Mariam Jaafar. Speaking in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 10), she asked for updates on the M³ youth mentoring programme and the value derived from these programmes. Turning to Malay families in rental housing, she asked for an update on the efforts of Project DIAN @ M³ in helping Malay families in public rental flats own flats. She also wanted to know how the Government can extend more support to other vulnerable families which do not own homes or live in rental flats.
