Committee of Supply 2022 debate, Day 7: Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim on support for young families
The Kelas Siap Sekolah (KSS) and KelasMateMatika (KMM) preschool programmes are effective because they not only prepare children but also their parents, said MP Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim in Parliament on Thursday (Mar 10). He wanted to know how successful the programmes have been in reaching out to students and how the Early Childhood and Development Agency’s KidSTART programme has been able to complement the programmes for Malay-Muslim families. He also asked about the efforts to improve lifelong learning for young couples and workers in the community.
