Is the Government aware of the number of unprofitable businesses that are relying on its funding schemes to stay afloat, and how does it plan to deal with them? As such companies risk going under after help schemes cease or are tightened, will the Government consider helping directors of these firms who might risk personal bankruptcy due to guaranteed loans? NMP Raj Joshua Thomas asked these questions in Parliament on Tuesday (Feb 28). He also asked about the effectiveness of the Enterprise Development Grant in supporting business transformation and when the remaining refreshed Industry Transformation Maps will be launched.
