The sustainability, robotics and space sectors are just three areas that will drive significant technological advancements, said MP Shawn Huang in Parliament on Tuesday (Feb 28). He asked how Singapore is building its advanced manufacturing capabilities for the future so that it can remain competitive and successful. He also wanted to know how the Government is supporting enterprises in growing their innovative capabilities. He noted that by developing new products, services and processes, enterprises can create new markets, attract investments and create jobs. Innovative enterprises are also more able to contribute to social progress by developing products and services that meet the needs of a growing and diverse population.
