Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 6: Louis Ng on childcare places in BTO estates
In Parliament on Friday (Mar 3), MP Louis Ng urged the Early Childhood Development Agency to appoint childcare centre operators in new Build-to-Order (BTO) estates much earlier and work with HDB to have the main contractor of the BTO project build and renovate childcare centres for the operator. He said such efforts will help save valuable time and resources, as the childcare centres can be ready when residents move into their new homes.
