Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 6: Muhamad Faisal Abdul Manap on Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme
In Parliament on Friday (Mar 3), MP Muhamad Faisal Abdul Manap reiterated his call for the Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme (KiFAS) to be made available to Singapore students from less privileged families who attend kindergartens apart from those run by the Ministry of Education or anchor operators. He also suggested that it be offered to children who are Permanent Residents, provided one of their parents or step-parents is Singaporean.
