Committee of Supply 2023 debate, Day 6: Wan Rizal on efforts to improve mental health
Conversations around mental health have become much easier among Singaporeans over the years, as a result of efforts by the Government as well as ground-up groups and community partners to destigmatise mental health issues. MP Wan Rizal said this in Parliament on Friday (Mar 3). He asked for updates on the work of the Inter-Agency Taskforce on Mental Health and Well-being as well as progress made by a separate taskforce focusing on children and maternal health. He also wanted to know if there are plans to support fathers.
