He said studies show that healthcare workers who suffer workplace harassment and abuse are more likely to experience burnout, job dissatisfaction and emotional exhaustion, leading to higher absenteeism and turnover rates. This could contribute to a manpower shortage and affect the accessibility and quality of healthcare services.
