In Parliament on Friday (Mar 3), MP Xie Yao Quan highlighted the concerns of Singaporeans who have foreign spouses who are expecting, as well as citizens who have parents who are Permanent Residents and are burdened or worried over healthcare costs. He urged the Ministry of Health to do more to make healthcare affordable for non-Singaporeans who have a clear and immediate Singaporean nexus.
