Singapore enjoys good relations with Malaysia, with mutual interest and commitment to deepen engagement and expand cooperation. There are many areas for both countries to cooperate in, such as the sharing of low-carbon and renewable energy technologies, carbon capture and storage, as well as carbon credits. MP Joan Pereira said this in Parliament on Thursday (Feb 29). She added that initiatives such as the ASEAN Power Grid will also strengthen regional interconnectivity and enhance energy security for both countries.
