Senior Parliamentary Secretary Eric Chua said it is high time that online harms get closer attention. In Parliament on Friday (Mar 1), he raised concerns over the pervasiveness of digital technology that has opened new avenues for exposure to and consumption of sexually explicit materials, especially ones of violent nature. On technology and seniors, Mr Chua said one persistent pain point is catching up with technology. He said many seniors however remain open to learning to go digital and picking up tips on staying safe online.
