In Parliament on Monday (Mar 4), MP Liang Eng Hwa asked for an update on the CareersFinder feature on the MyCareersFuture portal, the beta version of which was launched in the third quarter of 2023. He wanted to know about its take-up and whether it has achieved its intended outcomes. The aim of the feature was to provide users with personalised upskilling and career recommendations to keep their “career health” in good shape. Mr Liang also asked about the broad principles and parameters of an upcoming financial support scheme for involuntarily unemployed jobseekers.
