Committee of Supply 2024 debate, Day 4: Patrick Tay on bolstering SkillsFuture and strengthening the Singaporean core

MP Patrick Tay said SkillsFuture should be bolstered to empower Singaporeans. In Parliament on Monday (Mar 4), he suggested that courses be expanded beyond the current suite being offered under career conversion programmes. He also said mindset shift training as well as career coaching and counselling are key to reducing unemployment and under-employment. On strengthening the Singaporean core, he asked for updates on several issues including the Fair Consideration Framework.
