00:48 Min

Singapore's green transition requires all stakeholders to play their part in reducing their carbon footprint, said MP Poh Li San. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Mar 4), she said enterprises can contribute in many ways, such as by becoming more energy-efficient and reducing waste. She wanted to know what the Government is doing to incentivise businesses to reduce energy consumption, as well as support companies to build their capabilities. She asked if there are industry guidelines and targets to encourage business-client cooperation in reducing waste, particularly in packaging waste for consumer products.
