The Healthier SG initiative holds immense promise to transform the healthcare system towards upstream and preventive care, said MP Yip Hon Weng. Speaking in Parliament on Tuesday (Mar 5), he asked for updates on the enrolment of Healthier SG, as well as the number of participants who have attended their first consultation. He also asked for details on the format of personalised health plans for social prescriptions. Turning to concerns with seniors who live alone, Mr Yip warned of the potential for social isolation and unmet care needs. He wanted to know how the Ministry of Health evaluates the success of Age Well SG.
