Committee of Supply 2024 debate, Day 6: Nadia Ahmad Samdin on leadership renewal in Malay-Muslim community

03:10 Min

Leadership renewal is important to sustain the impact that Malay-Muslim organisations have made over the years, said MP Nadia Ahmad Samdin in Parliament on Wednesday (Mar 6). She asked for an update on the Tunas Bersama M3 programme, which was launched in 2021 to equip the next generation of Malay-Muslim leaders with the necessary knowledge, skills and networks. Ms Nadia also asked what support is available for religious and community leaders to get training and global exposure to deepen their capabilities and broaden their experience. This is so that they can continue to guide the community in navigating modern-day and global issues as well as the challenges of being a minority community, she said.
