Making these points in parliament on Monday (Mar 3), MP Desmond Choo said Singapore has to remain vigilant and adaptable, integrating emerging technologies to build a military that can defend its sovereignty in times of need and which is prepared for all contingencies on the modern battlefield. He sought an update on the Ministry of Defence's plans and priorities to strengthen the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) in line with its SAF 2040 vision.
