What is truly important at the end of the day is that the parliamentary question is responded to because no matter who the question is redirected to, there will be an answer provided, said Minister in the Prime Minister's Office Indranee Rajah. Speaking in parliament on Monday (Mar 3), she also pointed out that what is most important is that MPs conduct themselves with the highest standards with integrity and not mislead people outside on what happened in parliament. They must speak the truth to parliament and its committees, she added. Turning to the composition of the Presidential Council for Minority Rights, Ms Indranee stressed the need for a wide spectrum and range of perspectives. Having the people who remember the context of a certain legislative provision is valuable, she added.
