Singapore's rates of drug addiction have been among the lowest in the world but there is concern with the rise of drug use among youths, said MP Vikram Nair. He wanted to know what strategy the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is using to deal with this problem. Speaking in parliament on Monday (Mar 3), he highlighted the problem of scams and asked if MHA would consider taking stricter measures to better detect and deter Singaporeans from assisting in scam operations.
