Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 3: Gan Thiam Poh on help for businesses and support for households

Businesses will be hit hard when a higher carbon tax kicks in as it is not easy for many companies to change their operations to be more energy efficient, said MP Gan Thiam Poh. Speaking in parliament on Tuesday (Mar 4), he wanted to know what support will be given to businesses to increase their energy efficiency. Turning to households, he wanted to know the support that will be given to help them manage their energy and water consumption more efficiently.
