Speaking in parliament on Tuesday (Mar 4), MP Lim Wee Kiak suggested measures to mitigate flooding, including using technology to predict flooding patterns, and enabling collaboration amongst property owners to manage their flood risks. He cautioned that solving a flooding problem in one area should not result in the flooding of adjacent areas. He also wanted updates on drainage infrastructure upgrades and coastal protection plans.
