Bakeries located in HDB blocks should be regulated with mandatory noise control measures and ventilation systems, similar to eateries, said MP Muhamad Faisal Abdul Manap. Citing a case involving one of his constituents being plagued by noise, heat and odours from a bakery on the ground floor of the block where he lives, Mr Faisal asked how much similar feedback is received in a year and what requirements bakeries face if they want to operate in HDB residential blocks. He spoke in parliament on Tuesday (Mar 4).
