Introduce new bus services that connect HDB heartlands more directly to key services such as polyclinics, urged MP Ang Wei Neng. He also raised concerns about long bus routes that are inefficient for commuters and can cause driver fatigue. Mr Ang called for more bus interchanges - especially open-air ones which look “dated” - to be upgraded. This will provide commuters more comfort and protection in extreme weather, he said in parliament on Wednesday (Mar 5).
