With the rising adoption of electric vehicles (EVs), will there be sufficient EV chargers across Singapore? MP Ang Wei Neng raised this question in parliament on Wednesday (Mar 5). Beyond installing EV chargers at HDB carparks, he also asked if the Land Transport Authority is prepared to incentivise the private sector to install more chargers, including fast chargers, at commercial buildings and private residences. He also wanted to know how EV adoption is progressing for commercial vehicles, particularly heavy vehicles.
