Against the backdrop of rationalising business models amongst point-to-point (P2P), street-hail and taxi platforms, MP Yeo Wan Ling asked in parliament on Wednesday (Mar 5) for an update on the review of the P2P transport industry structure and regulatory framework. She asked for more safeguards to protect the earnings of drivers. In addition, she asked the Ministry of Transport to consider implementing a simplified app for seniors who struggle with technology to help them get into the more convenient world of ride-hailing.
