Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 5: Alvin Tan on connecting the world to Singapore

Singapore will mark its 60th year of independence with a flow of deals to its tourism attractions. The Association of Singapore Attractions and tourism businesses are helping to curate SG60 promotions such as family-friendly bundles and discounts. For example, Gardens by the Bay will launch an exclusive SG60 Wonder Blooms Pass for citizens and residents, with over 60 per cent discounts on unlimited visits to six stunning upcoming floral displays in the Flower Dome. Mandai Wildlife Reserve is offering exclusive deals across its parks from May to August on the SG60 website. Minister of State for Trade and Industry Alvin Tan, who announced these initiatives in parliament on Thursday (Mar 6), also outlined the government’s plans to connect the world to Singapore through its robust flow of tourism attraction offerings. He also highlighted plans to connect Singapore to the world, by deepening its relationships with trade partners globally and securing partnerships with regions further away.
