In parliament on Friday (Mar 7), MP Louis Ng called for single unwed parents to be given the cash component of the Baby Bonus, the Parenthood Tax Rebate as well as the Working Mother’s Child Relief. “The cash is a lifeline for them, and all these will help reduce the stigma and discrimination that single unwed parents face,” he said.
