The Ministry of Health and Health Sciences Authority will be reviewing the legal penalties to bolster deterrence against the importation, distribution and use of e-vaporisers, said Minister of State for Health Rahayu Mahzam. She told parliament on Friday (Mar 7) that education and enforcement against vaping will be continually monitored and reviewed. The Ministry of Health has intensified its whole-of-government approach to combat vaping through public education and enforcement efforts, she added. Ms Rahayu also updated the House on the government's efforts to reduce sugar consumption and support active living, as well as support in maternity fees for mothers of Singapore citizens and financial support for fertility preservation.
