Given the many mentoring programmes that help Malay-Muslim youths build professional networks and explore new industries, what are the success and participation rates of these programmes? How have these mentoring programmes helped youths explore new industries and employment opportunities? What efforts are being taken to encourage more professionals and organisations to contribute their time in supporting and shaping the next generation? MP Nadia Ahmad Samdin raised these questions in parliament on Monday (Mar 10). Highlighting the various initiatives to support Malay-Muslim couples and young parents, she wanted to know how the public policies benefit young Malay-Muslim families, especially parents who have irregular working hours.
