Committee of Supply 2025 debate, Day 7: Saktiandi Supaat on contributions to SG60
In parliament on Monday (Mar 10), MP Saktiandi Supaat said that as Singapore celebrates SG60 this year, the Malay-Muslim community has shown that it can progress in harmony with other groups. He called on the community to also take the lead in developing global thought leadership on Islamic finance, biomedicine, sustainable finance and climate change. He asked the government to share more about the Malay-Muslim community’s contributions through the SG60 celebrations.
