Research has shown the important role that early childhood education plays in supporting a child's development in the long term. MENDAKI's KelasMateMatika (KMM) programme for preschool children is one initiative that seeks to strengthen the child’s basic numeracy skills while also empowering parents with the skills and confidence to facilitate their child's learning development. MP Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim said this in parliament on Monday (Mar 10). He asked the Culture, Community and Youth Minister to share more on the outreach of KMM and how it has been beneficial for children as well as parents in preparing their children for primary school.
