For many couples, fertility difficulties bring emotional strain, uncertainty and financial stress, he said in parliament on Thursday (Feb 26). Singapore’s reproductive health pathways must provide not only treatment but sustain support through the journey, he said. He urged the government to look at fertility from a public health lens, explore a more progressive approach to subsidies and consider inclusive insurance schemes that could provide risk-sharing mechanisms.
