Committee of Supply 2026 debate, Day 2: Christopher de Souza on thought leadership on the global stage and Singapore as a mediation hub

Singapore has consistently contributed to the international legal order with humility, credibility and a strong sense of responsibility, said MP Christopher de Souza. Speaking in parliament on Friday (Feb 27), he wanted to know how the Ministry of Law would continue to support opportunities for Singapore and Singaporeans to make meaningful legal contributions internationally. He also asked for an update on efforts to strengthen Singapore's role as a global mediation hub.
