Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim said this in parliament on Friday (Feb 27), citing the 2025 National Drug Perception Survey. The government is moving to toughen drug enforcement tools by introducing a presumption clause for hair test results. Assoc Prof Faishal also shared “encouraging” results in the rehabilitation of drug abusers, with a fall in the reoffending rate.
