MP Shawn Loh said this in parliament on Monday (Mar 2), adding that Singaporeans will benefit from having more local companies crossing the S$1 billion mark in annual revenues. He asked the Ministry of Trade and Industry to consider setting a target for a number of new local firms to reach that scale by 2035 so that all government agencies can marshal their resources to achieve this.
