There is a need for clarity on what should change and what should be retained in regard to education in the AI age. When students can acquire knowledge for themselves with the help of AI tutors available around the clock, Institutes of Higher Learning need to consider what value they can bring to their students and how to make the best use of curriculum time. NMP Terence Ho said this in parliament on Monday (Mar 3). He also wanted to know what the Ministry of Education is doing to encourage or support innovation in learning assessment.
