Beyond enhancing Singapore’s infrastructure, the government must recognise the vital role of civic society and youth in climate resiliency, said MP Lee Hong Chuang in parliament on Tuesday (Mar 3). Highlighting the work of SeaKeepers Society Singapore, he urged structured support by the government through co-funding grants and mentorship, so young advocates can actively contribute to national planning. He added that coastal protection is more than engineering; it is a whole-of-nation effort.
