Committee of Supply 2026 debate, Day 4: Patrick Tay on Singaporean core and human capital practices

In parliament on Tuesday (Mar 3), MP Patrick Tay asked the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) to provide an update on its efforts to strengthen the Singaporean core and how effective COMPASS has been. He also pointed out that human capital practitioners are key to fostering a fair and inclusive workplace, including one with a strong Singaporean core. He suggested that employers be allowed to use SkillsFuture Enterprise Credits for training and certification.
