In parliament on Thursday (Mar 5), Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim shared his vision to cultivate a thriving Malay-Muslim community in Singapore. It is based on three pillars - uplifting individuals by providing opportunities for success, developing trusted religious institutions and nurturing a vibrant cultural sector. He laid out plans to strengthen marriage and parenthood support, help every child reach their fullest potential and provide holistic support for seniors. He also gave updates on the Singapore College of Islamic Studies, Wakaf Masyarakat Singapura and Malay Heritage Centre. Assoc Prof Faishal added that M³ will be expanded and rebranded to “M³ plus”, to drive greater collaboration with community partners in focus areas and in delivering programmes.
