Construction companies step up efforts to prepare for bad weather in Singapore

Construction companies are stepping up efforts to prepare for stronger winds, rain and lightning - with measures such as nailing beams to the ground, having more frequent weather updates and doing more regular inspections. This comes after advisories from the Manpower Ministry and the Building and Construction Authority in light of recent bad weather.
